In her recent public statements to the House of Commons Theresa May has sought to create the impression that she is seeking transparency and that the Home Office is doing the same.
Contrary to Theresa May's grand sounding words a Home Office official in 2014 is, in my view, covering up evidence of serious wrongdoing by Police officers and by senior staff of the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
In other words, cover-up is alive and well in Theresa May's Home Office in 2014.
The issues of concern trace back, in part, to alleged child sexual offences although that was not explicitly mentioned in the formal complaint of 30th January 2014 to Chris Blairs about which I wrote to Theresa May and Mark Sedwill today.
Formally, I wrote on 30th January 2014 to Chris Blairs of the Home Office to make a formal complaint about Dame Anne Owers. See FUQQ.EU - Dame Anne Owers - Is Dame Anne Owers a fit person to be Chair of the Independent Police Complaints Commission?
And, formally, my letter to Theresa May and Mark Sedwill is a letter of complaint regarding Chris Blairs' handling of my formal complaint relating to Dame Anne Owers.
In reality, the underlying issues are more complex and immensely serious.
The issues of concern include what I consider to be a web of corruption in the Independent Police Complaints Commission and in a number of UK Police forces.
In addition I ask Mrs. May and Mr. Sedwill to consider whether Mr.
Blairs' conduct should be referred to an appropriate Police force as
suspected misconduct in public office.
That Police force cannot be the
Metropolitan Police Service because of evidence suggesting corruption by Police officers including
Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe and Deputy Commissioner Craig
I don't attempt to explain the complexities of IPCC and Police corruption in my letter to Mrs. May and Mr. Sedwill and I won't try to provide detail here. That will come in future posts.
At the heart of the perceived web of corruption is Deborah Glass, former Deputy Chair of the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
I plan to blog in more detail about the various threads in this web of Police and IPCC corruption over the next few days. An initial post on Ms. Glass, her associations and the related web of perceived corruption will be here: [placeholder]
My letter of formal complaint regarding Deborah Glass sent to Dame Anne Owers on 13th November 2013 is here:

For the moment, here is the text of my formal letter of complaint regarding Chris Blairs of the Home Office.
