Lord McAlpine may have been a paedophile after all

Last year Lord McAlpine successfully sued Sally Bercow, wife of the Speaker of the House of Commons, with respect to alleged defamatory comments made on Twitter.

Lord McAlpine's success was based on this ruling by Mr. Justice Tugendhat:
England and Wales High Court (Queen's Bench Division) Decisions

I'm posting this blog post since I have recently been made aware of what, at first sight, seems to be separate information associating Lord McAlpine and child abuse.

It currently appears that there are multiple sources for this information.

At this stage these seemingly separate allegations regarding Lord McAlpine are subject to all the relevant caveats including the possbility of mistaken identity, the possibility of mistaken recall etc.

I am not saying that Lord McAlpine was a paedophile. However, I do believe that the question of whether or not Lord McAlpine was a paedophile is not closed.

When time allows I hope to follow the seemingly new information to its source.

In the meantime, anyone having relevant information may wish to contact me.

If ... and at this stage it is very much an "if" ... Lord McAlpine used the Law deceitfully to conceal his paedophile past then it seems to me that it raises complex issues which the UK Child Abuse Inquiry must consider with the greatest care.
