The Report by the Independent Police Complaints Authority on New Zealand Police Handling of Child Abuse Cases

When announcing the appointment of Justice Lowell Goddard as chair of the UK Child Abuse Inquiry, Theresa May made mention of an inquiry that Justice Goddard had conducted into the police handling of child abuse.

As chairman of New Zealand’s Independent Police Conduct Authority, she conducted an inquiry into the policing of child abuse in New Zealand

To the best of my knowledge nobody has made a serious study of whether or not Justice Goddard's inquiry was competent or better or worse.

I offer the following links to allow interested researchers to arrive at their own assessment of Justice Goddard's past work on child abuse, as attributed by Theresa May.

The Inquiry's findings were published in two parts respectively, it seems on 18 May 2010 and 17 February 2011.
